Blackwood Gallery published a series of six broadsheets to accompany an exhibition, The Work of Wind: Air, Land, Sea.  Each one will be printed in full-color, 24-pages, and available online, while 3,000 copies will be distributed locally and nationally. I got a commission to create this illustration to accompany an essay for the broadsheet, GRAFTING. This essay addresses the Emerald Ash Borer, an invasive species, feeding on the ash trees of Ontario, Quebec, and the eastern United States. I choose to draw one beetle with details since the beetles work alone.
